BabyBusiness is a newborn-care tracker for logging feedings and growth. This policy explains what data the app handles and why. We keep it minimal on purpose: there is no advertising, no third-party analytics, and we never sell your data.
You can use BabyBusiness without signing in. On first launch the app creates an anonymous identity tied to your device. A random device credential is generated and stored — on our servers only as a one-way hash, and on your device in the secure system keychain — so the app can recognise your device and keep your data available to you.
We do not collect location, contacts, advertising identifiers, or usage-tracking analytics.
Solely to provide the app's features: tracking your baby's feeding and growth, syncing your data across your devices, and — when you generate a share code — letting another caregiver you invite access that baby's records. We do not use your data for advertising or tracking across other apps or websites.
Your data is private to you and to any caregiver you explicitly invite with a share code. We use the following service providers to run the app:
We do not sell or rent your personal data to anyone.
All traffic between the app and our servers is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). Session tokens and the device credential are stored in your device's secure keychain. We keep your data for as long as you use the app; you can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time using the contact below.
BabyBusiness is intended for use by parents and caregivers (adults). The records you enter describe an infant but are created and controlled by you. The app is not directed to children as users and does not knowingly collect data directly from children.
You can access, correct, export, or delete your data. To exercise any of these rights, contact us and we'll respond promptly.
